Dr. Walter Eliakunda Mndeme (PhD),
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Goma Logistics Company, Mabita Company Limited and Lukundo International Company has both a strategic management doctorate from ARBOR University USA and Cargo Clearance clearance doctorate from OUT. He has knowledge, skills, and experience in freight forwarding, cargo logistics, shipping, and port management through practical and theoretical training.

He has acquired professional certification as a trainer and consultant for handling port operations, shipping operations, dangerous cargo, classification, and transportation maritime from BLG Consult Germany, a certified trainer and consultant for maritime safety advisor from Breman Chamber of Commerce, and handling maritime dangerous goods in EAC from InWent Germany. Further, he holds a professional diploma in port operations and management from Antwerp University Belgium. His doctorate in port and shipping has allowed him to acquire the most relevant practical skills to manage maritime and port operations. Doctor Walter has worked in various capacities for over 35 years, from tallying clerk to chief executive officer in the shipping and port business, and thus has managed different companies to attain successful performance in the shipping, port, logistics, and cargo clearance sectors.

Dr. Walter’s competencies and expertise include shipping operations and management expert, shipping agency operations, management and documentation expert, port operations, management and documentation expert; transport operation and management expert, freight clearing operations, and management and documentation expert.
